TNT KaTropa's target is to get win no. 6

TNT KaTropa will try to take the 6th win and the virtual quarterfinals berth in the game against Meralco in the PBA Governors' Cup at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

The KaTropa's goal is to have a stronger defense after nearly dropping its last three games.

KaTropa had their first loss against NorthPort Batang Pier, 103-100.

KaTropa knew the game against Meralco would not be easy with a 3-1 record.

But Meralco coach Norman Black is also struggling to beat TNT.

"That's a tough one coming up," Black said. “You can scout them and you pretty much know what's coming. The problem is when they start raining those threes on you, it becomes very, very difficult to stop them. ”

For Black, TNT import KJ McDaniels has to defend well, averaging 33.8 points, 15.6 rebounds, 5.8 assists, 1.8 steals and 3.6 blocks.

Bolts import Allen Durham averaged 26.3 points, 15.0 rebounds and 5.8 assists.

KaTropa's Jayson Castro, Roger Pogoy, Troy Rosario and Don Trollano will be up against Meralco Bolts' Baser Amer, Raymond Almazan and Chris Newsome.
