Belgium vs England

Today was the soccer match between Belgium and England, which determined the team that held the third position in the wordcup. Its been an exciting season of soccer. England and Belgium  both played  excellent throughout the worldcup. I thought that both of the teams stood a great chance of making to the final. Nevertheless, I enjoyed watching them play today which was an accomplishment on its own making it this far. 

The game was played well by both sides. During the first half of the game, Belgium scored a great goal at the fourth minute of the match. Their defense was pretty good, so that was the only goal that was scored in the first half. At the second half of the game, Belgium had scored their second goal at the eighty second minute of the match. It was an impressive goal scored by Edin Hazard. The first goal was scored by Thomas Meunier. 

As for England, I could see the effort they had put into the match but were unable to score any goals. Belgium was the deserving winner. The score was 2-0 at the end of the match. That resulting to Belgium coming out in the third place. I was hoping that Belgium could have won the worldcup. They played well throughout the season and only lost one of their games which caused them to be out. 

However, coming out in the third place is a great achievement. It was also an achievement for England who have made it this far. Both of the teams should celebrate because it is an accomplishment to make it till here. I look forward to match tomorrow! I have faith in both teams because they have both being playing well, Croatia as well as France.
