CJ Perez got the 1st pick and Bobby Ray Parks on 2nd
It was really an amazing and busy Sunday today for Philippine Basketball teams as they are there choosing their respective guys to play under their team. There had been many scouts prior to the event so teams will able to choose the best player they could get during their pick. There had been a deep competition between the drafters that they put their all during their chance to expose their talents and skills in basketball to all watching the event. But prior to the drafting day, Columbian Dyip already inform the public that they will be picking CJ Perez as their first round player draft in which they really stick to it during the event.
CJ Perez was chosen the first pick overall since Columbian Dyip knows that he has something inside him. During his days in LPU Pirates, he has proven himself that he can be a good asset for any team that he plays. His quality of playing style in basketball was really awesome to watch due to his agility and speed while shooting a good percentage. He is really good in attacking and will not be intimidated with tall men instead he will make an opportunity to use his speed. Columbian Dyip never did any mistake choosing CJ Perez as their first pick since he can be considered as an overall player that can be a great help on both offense and defense.
Now for the second pick, Bobby Ray Parks was chosen by Blackwater Elite. It was never known since Blackwater Elite already informed the public on their interest on both CJ Perez and Bobby Ray Parks but they need to wait for their turn to choose. Bobby Ray Parks has already played NBA D-League as well as many international tournaments and his exposure to such games is a big asset for him in playing PBA. Blackwater Elite is really proud of their picked player and they know that Bobby Ray Parks can contribute a big lift to his upcoming team as he has done on his affiliated basketball teams.
A journey awaits for both CJ Perez and Bobby Ray Parks awaits them as the two players will meet each other in hard court and test themselves as they clash. There's no denying that these two players really adds excitement to fans in Philippine Basketball.
