Jose Mourinho rejected the record offer. The Portuguese didn't accept the Chinese offer of Guangzhou Evergrande, thanks to which he could become the best-paid trainer in the world.
Jose Mourinho has been unemployed since December last year, when he was dismissed from Manchester United. Since then, there is often talk of a potential new job for a Portuguese trainer. Now he received a proposal from the Chinese league, but he didn't decide to move to Asia.
Sky Sports informed about the offer for Mourinho. According to the information provided, the services of a 56-year-old trainer expressed interest in Guangzhou Evergrande. The Chinese tycoon offered Mourinho € 30 million for the season (plus bonuses). In total, for a 3-year contract, the Portuguese could earn € 100 million. If "The Special One" decided to accept this offer, he would become the best-paid trainer in the world. Mourinho, however, rejected this attractive offer.
Mourinho rejected the offer, because he counts on finding employment in one of the best European clubs. However, after recent failures, this will not be an easy task. The future of the former coach, among others FC Porto, Inter and Chelsea should settle in the near future.
