Result of the UEFA Champions League Semi-Final Draw
Bayern Munich vs Real Madrid Tuesday 24th April
Liverpool vs Roma Wednesday 25th April.
A quick reminder that four teams were seeded ( Bayern München (GER) Liverpool (ENG)Real Madrid (ESP) Roma (ITA) prior to the Semi-final Draw and each of them have fantastic history when it comes to this level of football.
Liverpool is going into semi-final stage of the Champions league after 10 years, and their last semi-final lost was to Chelsea in 2008. Out of 18 semi final encounters, Bayern Munich has won 10 and lost 8 and were last crowned Champions in 2013 after defeating Dortmund at the Wembley Stadium. The defending Champions Real Madrid have recorded 28 semi-finals out of which are 15 wins, and 13 defeats. Madrid's coach Zinédine Zidane has made record by becoming only the second coach to win the European Cup in his first two seasons in management ( 2016, and 2017). Roma Nickname Giallorossi were runner's up of the UEFA Cup and European Champion Clubs' Cup in 1991 and 1984 respectively, and this will be the first time the club will make it to the Semi final of the Competition since 1984.
The first legs of the semi final will be on Tuesday 24 and Wednesday 25 April, with the return leg on Tuesday 1st and Wednesday 2nd May. Kyiv in Ukraine will host the final match on the 26 May 2018
