Steemit Scramble and STEEM Cup Series Winners: May – June 2017
The May-June results are in and points will now reset for the July-August contests. All previous points earned will carry over for the season contests.

I won’t keep you waiting, so here are the results for the four contests that concluded last week.
Steemit Scramble

The 2x multiplier was the winning score for the tournament in relation to par, which was -12. Four players guessed the correct winning score, including the first and second place contestants for the week. All four contestants – @zcgolf16, @jbreezy, @allmonitors, and @liberty-minded – doubled their point totals for their golfers’ results.
The total pot for the weekly contest was 69 SBD. The 1st place contestant received 34.50 SBD, the 2nd place contestant received 20.70 SBD, and the 3rd place contestants each received 16 SBD. Here is the proof of payout:

Please keep in mind that all points will accumulate for the season-long contests. Here are the top-10 contestants for the Scramble. The top-5 contestants received payouts for the monthly contest ending with the Travelers Championship tournament. Monthly points will reset for the July-August contest.

RULE CHANGES FOR THE Steemit Scramble
Starting with the July-August contest the following changes will apply:
Contestants who select golfers finishing between first and fifth place in the weekly PGA Tour event will receive 7 points per selection. Choosing the winner of the event will be rewarded with a five-point bonus, added after the 2x multiplier. Contestants who do not select a unique golfer combination each week will not receive the bonus points for the weekly winner.

RULE CHANGES FOR THE STEEM Cup Series
Starting with the July-August contest the following changes will apply:
Point deductions for MY DRIVER results will cease. Only bonus points will be awarded based on results.
All bonus points will only be awarded if contestants have selected a unique driver combination for the weekly contest.
True point totals will be used as tie-breakers for the weekly contests. After the initial tally of driver points and division by two, I have been rounding up to the next whole number. If there is a tie between two or more contestants, I will use the true (not rounded) point total to attempt to break the tie.
