Lakers Update - Luke Walton Dead Man Coaching

Luke Walton's days are numbered. He has absolutely little to no support within the Lakers organization. He is not receiving support from Magic. Nor is he receiving support from Lebron James or any of the veterans. His sole supporter, owner Jeannie Buss, has grown tepid recently. It is being reported that the tension in the building is palpable.

Someone pointed out how everyone now has an issue with Walton. These issues just suddenly appeared. After Lebron arrived, I might add.

It is only a matter of time before Walton is fired. I wonder if they will provide him with a blindfold and cigarette.

AD to LA

It appears that this will not happen. As we all know by now, the Pelicans are being encouraged to not trade Davis in season. Many people feel that is strictly Lakers resentment an anti-LA bias. That is probably true to some extent. But I believe it goes deeper than that.

Lebron, his team and Magic are running a pimp game. As we all know, this was orchestrated from the get go. I would wager as far back as when Lebron first met with Magic. He informed the Lakers legend, that not only was he coming but that AD was coming with him. No way, did Davis just decide during the season that he was done with New Orleans. When Davis signed with Klutch Managment, this was set in motion. Playing with Lebron in LA is probably how Rich Paul convinced Davis to sign in the first place. The Pelicans are being pimped.

This is ultmately at the heart of the animus the Lakers are currently experiencing. If it isn't, it should be. I would not be surprised if the Lakers do not get Davis at all. In the summer you may see a 3 or 4 team trade deal with the Pelicans. The Lakers won't be one of them.
