Manchester City certainly failed to snatch quadruple this season after they were eliminated in the FA Cup following a 1-0 defeat of Wigan Athletic on Tuesday (20/2) early morning hrs.
Wigan had previously defeated City with an identical score in the final of the FA Cup 2013 before getting rid of them in an upcoming competition in the next season.
However, the Latics' prospect of repeating the notes seems a bit impossible given the superiority of the Citizens in both domestic and European competitions.

Although the loss of one player did not stop the dominance of Pep Guardiola's squad, unfortunately Kyle Walker's mistake allowed Grigg to lock victory in the remaining 11 minutes once sealing a quarter-final against Southampton.
Sergio Agueri almost gave the Citizens a lead in the third minute, but his header bounced when he got a Bernardo Silva cross from the right.
Ilkay Gundogan then forced Wigan goalkeeper Christian Walton into a brilliant save, before the hosts showed their ability to attack.
Right-back Nathan Byrne combed the right sector and managed to send the bait into the penalty area, to force Claudio Bravo to rescue.
City should be able to break the deadlock, unfortunately Aymeric Laporte failed to convert a Gundogan feed.

At the end of the first half, City must lose Delph after the referee gave him a red card following a foul on Power.
Losing one player forced Guardiola to enter Walker for Sane early in the second half, and Danilo was transferred to left back to fill the post left by Delph.
City had trouble creating chances and Guardiola put Kevin De Brutne in the remaining 25 minutes. Gundugan failed to convert De Bruyne's corner kick five minutes later.
The hosts finally broke the deadlock in the 79th minute. Starting from the failure of Walker stop Elder bait, so Grigg easily scored the ball into the goal Bravo.
Wigan managed to anticipate some of the pressure of the Citizens and ended with a festive celebration with supporters of the host after the referee blew the long whistle.

Haha, this is why we love football in the premier league. It is absolutely unpredictable. Not even the most optimistic Wigan Athletic fan would have imagined that they would defeat Manchester City even when they went one man down.
