Nuri Sahin was once called the best talent of Turkish descent who inhabited Germany. He was born to a Turkish couple who grew up in Meinerzhagen, North Rhine-Westphalia.

His success brought a local club named RSV Meinerzhagen to win some junior competitions making many professional clubs interested in getting it. Borussia Dortmund became the luckiest after offering a contract at the age of 13 years.
Exactly 16 years 334 days, Sahin gained status as the youngest footballer ever to play in the Bundesliga. Two months later, he was listed as the youngest player to score in the Bundesliga.

Sahin talent made it seizure of the National Team (Timnas) Turkey and Germany. However, as he has strengthened the Turkish junior team in several age groups, he eventually chose to defend the Ay-Yildizlilar banner.

Ilkay Guendogan

Ilkay Guendogan was born in Gelsenkirchen from a family of Turkish descent. According to Der Kurzpassmeister, his ancestors came in the 1900s from Balikesir, Turkey, to earn a living as a coal miner in the Ruhr valley.

After moving around the junior club, Guendogan finally chose to join VfL Bochum. Neat appearance then took him to join the team on the side of the Ruhr valley, Borussia Dortmund.

From teenager, Guendogan decided to defend the German National Team. Unfortunately, a series of injuries kept him out of the various training camps of the German national team, including those prepared for the 2014 World Cup.
