Brock Lesnar for UFC heavyweight title
I understand the business perspective to do this but kinda messed up that the guy who hasn't fought in over 2 years (and was juiced up in that fight too, failed the drug test) might be getting an immediate title shot at the winner of Miocic/Cormier at the end of the year.
You've got legit contenders like Alexander Volkov and Curtis Blaydes fresh off spectacular TKO wins, knocking at the door for a title shot. But I get it, this would be a huge money PPV and I'd be lying if I said I'm not somewhat interested in seeing it go down. Stipe vs. Brock or DC vs. Brock would be fun to watch.

There is always rumors of Brock's return. It generates views for articles and gets people talking about both Brock and UFC.
Negotiating with the UFC is also a tatic of Brock and his team to strong arm Vince ( WWE ) for more money or a better wrestling contract.
There is no real contender so have the two guys you mentioned fight each other on the same card of Lesnar vs heavyweight champion. Does he deserve a shot? Hell no but he is a former champ, a huge name and a big fast heavyweight so why not, there is nobody really deserving a shot anyway....
