McGregor vs Mayweather... First big media day changes the whole game!!

Wow. We've just had the first serious media day for McGregor vs Mayweather, since their world tour.

I'm shocked to be saying this, but this is going to be more interesting than I thought!

If the whole Paulie Malignaggi thing wasn't setup by Mayweather (which probably would have been the best chess move ever played in boxing history), we're looking at a competent boxer at a very high level, in McGregor.

That, coupled with the out of the box thinking that has been expressed by Ido Portal, John Kavanagh and Owen Roddy, point to a potential situation where we have a fighter who can hold his own with the likes of Malignaggi and yet is coming at this with a completely fresh approach to boxing!!

So, either...

McGregor is the real deal

Floyd is 10 steps ahead and setup the whole Malignaggi thing

Their in collusion to sell more tickets. The closer the fight looks from the outside, the more they'll both make.

Whatever the case is, it's phenomenal marketing. If McGregor pulls this one off, he'll officially be the best Martial Artist we've seen since Bruce Lee. That level of critical thinking and innovation is just not seen often.
