The Sixers have played two and lost both on account of their poor batting performances. Against the Thunder they were restricted to 149 with a top-score of 32 while the Scorchers didn't even allow them that luxury - they were bowled out for 132.
What's interesting to note is that even when they aren't doing well with the bat, they are hitting reasonable number of boundaries. In both games, they hit 12 fours despite their batting struggles. Expect them to come good with the bat for once.
Adelaide Strikers managed a win in their opener and that was despite a batting struggle. On a sluggish pitch, Ben Laughlin grabbed a four-fer and Rashid Khan took two wickets to win the match.
It's their bowling which is going to continue remaining an issue for the opposition.

Sydney 6ers are a much better team than they've been showing. Adelaide are my pick for the wooden spoon.
The Strikers look a tad light in their batting. Needed a lot more firepower there unless Alex Carey plays some kind of a consistent role.
Who knows for sure but it totally would not surprise me if they don't win another game all season. Their roster is very weak I reckon.

Very good point. Gillespie has some of that magic coaching dust that Lehmann and Langer have been using. I hadn't considered that.
