Diamondbacks slide

in #sport6 years ago

So it has been a up and down year for my home team, the Diamondbacks, and they had a 4 game lead on the division, with 30 games left, and they seem to be choking on the pressure. They are currently 2 games back and out of the playoffs. young-giants-fan-donates-baseball-after-sad-diamondbacks-fan-misses-foul-ball1-1024x576.jpg
Just like this sad little kid, most diamondback fans are hoping for the best. We just want a ticket to the dance.

@bigram13 Baseball was my Favorite Sport Growing Up and Playing it. Now I could careless about PRO Sports. It sickens me what all of Pro Sports has Become.........Actually I have much more productive time for more meaningful things in my Life. Last Time I went to a D-Backs Game was 5 Years Ago................

Ya, I do not care as much as I use too. I also watch 0 basketball anymore, and football is on its way out with me too.

@bigram13 I think a lot of people are Waking UP to the FIXED Pro Sports. Their own lives can be more productive once they get away from TV Programming Too.............

Ya, that is my plan, to get away from all these things. Then what gets me is they have the balls to tell me how I should be living.

Many great posts. I will post a lot of beautiful say.

That's one of the rough things about professional sports. The fans are often more invested in the outcome of the games than the players. Granted, the players want to do well, but it's just their job and they're already being well-paid. If they play a game and lose, they can take their thousands of dollars game check home and cash it as $100 bills to wipe their tears. The father of the boy in the picture gets to take a sad son home and know that he spent $100+ for an outing that was ultimately a bummer.

Sometimes it works out (the fans of the opposing team are happy right now), but there's always a lot of heartbreak with sports... speaking of which, hey, NFL is starting! Ha ha.

Yep it is just a check cash it an move on. I don't see how people afford it. It costs so much money.

The baseball season is a marathon journey and so much can happen and change. All that success and hard work to get out in front but being the frontrunner at midseason really doesn't mean much. You have to do it for a full 162. So many teams have had great 1/2 seasons and fell short while some amazing teams have sputtered out of the gate and caught fire at the right time.
