Icelandic nightmare - Biggest star might miss the WC

I just read the news that the Premier League player Gylfi Sigurdsson has injured his knee. The state of the injury is not yet established but they will know more after Gylfi has performed a x-ray.
In the best case this is just a minor injury and he can be back before the world cup 2018, but if it is the outer ligament in the knee he might have a recovery time of 6 months ahead of him.

This is really a blow to the Icelandic team that has , for the first time, qualified for the world cup. Gylfi is a key player for the team and since Iceland is a small country they don't have such a big player pool to choose a replacement from.

I really hope that Gylfi will be back before the world cup because I loved to see them at the Euro 2016 with their fighting spirit and vulcano clap.
