Come on over for an hour at 8 PM UK time. (7 PM UTC) on Wednesday. This week's show will talk about Omaha Hi Lo. This game has two more cards then Hold'em.
The show will last for approx 1 hour.

Omaha Hi Lo can have two winning hands to any hand played. That's right, 2 different hands can share the pot. Like with normal poker hands the highest hands wins. In Omaha Hi Lo the low hand also wins.

So what is a low hand in Hi lo. For the low hands the lowest best hand wins a share of the pot.
The best low hand is A 2 3 4 5,
The second best hand is A 2 3 4 6,
A 2 3 5 6 is the next best hand and so on,

8 7 4 3 A will lose to 8 6 4 3 A, The 6 is the lower card between the two hands, The highest card that can be used in a low hand is the 8.

It can get interesting when the High hand is good. maybe a person holding 3 of a kind. If the low hands makes a straight 2 3 4 5 6 any five running cards in sequence to make a straight will SCOOP! the pot. Scooping the pot means you take all of the pot, Having both the high and low best hand.

3 of a kind does not beat a straight.
