The Magical Moon

What do you resonate with moon?

The ever mysterious moon, with myth of werewolf appearing during a full moon, creating the high and low tide of the sea water, determining the date of most festivals, as well as some of the religious practices such as praying or observing vegetarian meals.

The moon changes its shape every day which i usually don’t even notice nor pay attention to, it is only in a recent event that I come to know that the moon too has a different spiritual affect and impact on our life as the moon waxes and wanes, which intrigued me.

New moon is a time when the moon is closest to the sun, blocking the energy of the sun and thus the lowest energy on earth.

During the full moon everything seems to be magnified be it good or bad, more accidents, crimes and etc. It is therefore be seen as time of crisis as well as time for opportunity by many.

It was said that while a new moon is time to set new intention or goals, full moon is where things are being magnified and/or completed.

The different phases of Lord Buddha’s life are also closely related to full moon.

It is also said that as the moon symbolises mental and emotion, ones feeling are also affected during the different phases of the moon.
