The skills we make for dealing with uncertainty and distress can also be the same skills that improve our living in the future. 🌟
As we travel the path of recovery we discover and are saved by healing modalities, and sometimes partly merge with them, become only the healing space, the tools.
But as the light comes back, and the process progresses to a new dawn, and the sound of recovery starts to become more perceptible, vivid, real ~ life happens to be, again, more and something else than those things we’ve done and used in order to recover.
Life reopens and we feel the desire to engage in it, fully, again.
It becomes social again, light and fun too. Superficial even sometimes, carefree, how could that be. Certainly less foggy, distant and blocked in the forever-present memories of an ancient heavy, traumatic past.
Life reopens, again. And I can hear this rousing music breathing the calling of engaging in it fully, one more time ~ but from a renewed and wiser, more mature and profound, both stronger and more heart-centered space this time. Like after a long journey, an incredible, almost unrelatable ~ where have we been again?
