Observaciones sobre el libro el vendedor mas grande del mundo
Ordenando una gaveta encontré un viejo cuaderno, donde acostumbraba anotar resúmenes de algunos libros que había leído, las frases que leí sobre el Vendedor más grande del mundo me hicieron pensar que era un libro extraordinario.
Mi segundo pensamiento fue, ¿estas frases estaban en el libro o fueron inspiradas por él?, para salir de duda tenía que volver a leerlo y lo haría con gusto, pues este es uno de esos libros que vale la pena leerlo varias veces, sino lo has hecho te invito hacerlo.
Si quieres me acompañas en este trayecto, publicaré en varios días algunas de las reflexiones que se encuentran en el libro y mi interpretación, no será un tiempo en vano te lo aseguro. Espero que lo disfrutes.
El título de este libro nos lleva a inferir que se trata de riqueza y es así, esta es la primera ambición que tiene un hombre común y ¿quien no quiere riqueza?¿está mal desearla?¿tenerla nos convertiría en malas personas?
- Leamos un fragmento del libro:
Las riquezas, hijo mío, no deben ser jamás la meta de tu vida. Tus palabras son elocuentes, pero son meras palabras. La verdadera riqueza es la del corazón, y no la de la billetera. Pág. 30
No aspires a las riquezas y no trabajes solamente para enriquecerte. Esfuérzate por alcanzar la felicidad, por ser amado y amar, y lo que es de más importancia, procura con ahínco alcanzar la paz mental y la serenidad. Pág. 31
En respuesta a los comentarios anteriores el joven le pregunta a su jefe:
Pero todas estas cosas son imposibles sin el oro. ¿Quién puede vivir en la pobreza y alcanzar la paz mental?
¿Cómo se puede ser feliz con el estómago vacío?
¿Cómo puede uno demostrar amor por su familia si no puede alimentarla, vestirla y darle albergue? Usted mismo ha dicho que las riquezas son buenas cuando proporcionan gozo a los demás. ¿Por qué entonces no es buena mi ambición de ser rico? La pobreza quizá sea un privilegio y hasta una forma de vida para el monje en el desierto, porque sólo tiene que sostenerse a sí mismo y agradar solamente a su dios, pero yo considero que la pobreza es una señal de falta de capacidad o de falta de ambición. Interesante no!, Que opinan ustedes? Nosotros podemos ser felices sin dinero, cómo compraríamos nuestros alimentos sin él…, ya sé que deben pensar que existen miles de personas que se autosustentan con la agricultura que ellos mismos cosechan, pero que pasa con las otras personas que no sabemos sembrar ni una papa.
Este es un bello libro que nos lleva a reflexionar sobre la riqueza y como conseguirla, me fue muy difícil evitar colocar tantas citas, no me castiguen por ello.
Nunca te avergüences de emprender algo aunque fracases, porque aquel que no ha fracasado nunca no ha intentado tampoco nada. Pág. 37
El fracaso no te sobrecogerá nunca si tu determinación para alcanzar el éxito es lo suficientemente poderosa. Pág. 37
En otras palabras, el fracaso no te vencerá si tu determinación de triunfar es lo bastante firme.

Comments on the book the world's largest seller
While I was tidying up a drawer I found an old notebook, where I used to write down summaries of some books I had read, the phrases I read about the greatest seller in the world made me think that it was an extraordinary book.
My second thought was, were these phrases in the book or were they inspired by it, to get out of doubt I had to read it again and I would do so gladly, because this is one of those books that is worth reading several times, if you have not done so I invite you to do so.
If you want to accompany me on this journey, I will publish in several days some of the reflections found in the book and my interpretation, it will not be a time in vain I assure you. I hope you enjoy it.
The title of this book leads us to infer that it is about wealth and it is so, this is the first ambition that a common man has and who does not want wealth? is it wrong to want it? would having it make us bad people?
- Let us read a passage from the book:
Riches, my son, should never be the goal of your life. Your words are eloquent, but they are mere words. True wealth is that of the heart, and not of the wallet.Page 30
Don't aspire to riches and don't work just to get rich. Strive for happiness, for being loved and loving, and most importantly, strive for peace of mind and serenity. Page 31
In response to the above comments the young man asks his boss:
But all these things are impossible without gold. Who can live in poverty and achieve peace of mind?
How can one be happy on an empty stomach?
How can one show love for his family if he cannot feed, clothe and shelter them? You yourself have said that riches are good when they bring joy to others. Why then is my ambition to be rich, not good? Poverty may be a privilege and even a way of life for the monk in the desert because he has only to support himself and please only his god, but I consider poverty to be a sign of lack of ability or lack of ambition. Page 31
Interesting, no! What do you think? We can be happy without money, as we would buy our food without it... This is a beautiful book that leads us to reflect on wealth and how to get it, it was very difficult for me to avoid putting so many quotes, do not punish me for it.
