Hoy comparto con mis lectores imágenes de mis plantas de Cúrcuma y parte de su producción. Esta planta puede llegar a alcanzar un metro de altura. Tiene rizomas muy ramificados, de color amarillo o anaranjado, cilíndricos y aromáticos, como se muestra en la fotografía.
La Cúrcuma es un colorante orgánico y además es un fitoactivador inmunológico. En cuanto a su valor nutricional la Cúrcuma tiene carbohidratos (azúcares y fibra alimentaria), grasas, proteínas, agua y vitaminas.
Las fotografías fueron tomadas en mi jardín que además de tener plantas ornamentales tiene plantas con alto valor nutritivo.
Me dispuse a investigar en qué consistía este reto y pude darme cuenta de que el mismo consiste en mostrar, a través de una o más fotografías, elementos de la naturaleza como plantas, flores, animales, paisajes; entre una infinidad de elementos que son parte de la diversidad de nuestros pueblos, ciudades e incluso de nuestro país.
