El resumen de hoy viene marcado por las caídas que estamos viviendo en el mundo crypto. El bitcoin ha caído hasta los 10000 dólares aproximadamente, siendo las caídas en las demás criptomonedas mucho más abultadas.
Today's summary is marked by the crashes we are experiencing in the crypto world. The bitcoin has fallen to around 10,000 dollars, with the falls in the other currencies much more bulky.
Todos los meses de Enero suelen empezar mal en el mercado de las criptomonedas. Veremos qué ocurre con los rumores de baneo que vienen de China y Corea del Sur.

Como vemos a continuación, el bitcoin acumula una caída del 28% este 2018. Ha sido brusco e inesperado pero pienso que es sana una correción así, las subidas del último trimestre de 2017 fueron igual de bruscas, no debe haber pánico.

Abandonando las criptomonedas, en cuanto a la renta variable, el único mercado importante a nivel mundial en negativo este 2018 es la bolsa de Australia. Todos los mercados mundiales han empezado de forma muy fuerte, destacando los índices norteamericanos, los asiáticos y el italiano en Europa, que es el que más sube de las bolsas más importantes.
Out of the cryptocurrencies, in terms of equities, the only significant market in the world in negative this 2018 is the stock market of Australia. All the world markets have started very strongly, highlighting the North American indices, the Asians and the Italian in Europe, which is the one that rises the most important stock markets.
En cuanto a la renta fija, las TIRs están bajando de forma importante, destacar por ejemplo que la prima de riesgo española está por debajo de 100 pb, habiendo superado toda la crisis por el conflicto catalán. El bono americano ha subido hasta el 2,55%, superando el nivel psicológico del 2,5%. Veremos como afectan las subidas de tipos de interés que se esperan y el cambio de política monetaria gradual que se ha anunciado por parte del BCE.
In terms of fixed income, IRRs are falling significantly, highlighting for example that the Spanish risk premium is below 100 bp, having overcome the entire crisis due to the Catalan conflict. The US bond has risen to 2.55%, surpassing the psychological level of 2.5%. We will see how they affect the increases in interest rates that are expected and the gradual change in monetary policy announced by the ECB.
El mercado de commodities está muy activo también. Destaco las subidas de los metales preciosos encabezadas por el platino que sube más de un 8% y también la del petróleo, que parece que no tiene techo desde que subió por encima de los 60$. Creo que habrá pronto caída en el mercado de los metales o en el de la renta variable, veremos cual baja.
The commodities market is very active too. I highlight the rises in precious metals led by platinum that rises more than 8% and also that of oil, which seems to have no ceiling since it rose above 60$. I think there will be a drop soon in the metals market or in the equity market, we will see what goes down.
Finalmente, en las divisas, la fuerte subida del euro frente al dólar es lo más importante. El cambio de política monetaria ya comentado antes ha dado mucha fuerza al euro y debilita el potencial exportador de la zona euro. Los americanos, suben tipos y cae el dólar, se les presenta un muy buen escenario.
Finally, in currencies, the strong rise of the euro against the dollar is the most important. The change in monetary policy mentioned above has given the euro a lot of strength and weakens the export potential of the euro zone. The Americans, raise rates and the dollar falls, they are presented with a very good scenario.
