Hola a todos espero que se encuentren muy bien! 🤓 😎
En este post hablaremos sobre fork en github.
Un fork es una opción que tiene github y muchas plataformas que trabajan con git, el cual nos permite copiar un proyecto ya desarrollado en nuestro repositorio de proyectos, es decir yo puedo realizar una copia de cualquier proyecto que exista y este en github y poder hacerle mis propios cambios o si por ejemplo quiero mejorar el código o funcionamiento del programa, lo puedo hacer por mi cuenta y luego solicitar un pull request al proyecto principal y el dueño del proyecto vera si es viable el cambio que propongo o no, y así es con cualquier proyecto, más adelante veremos más a fondo el pull request.
Entonces como vemos en la imagen, tenemos el proyecto de react creado por facebook y podemos tener todo su código con tan solo un click y así poder generar los cambios que queramos.
