Si bien el titulo mas anhelado tiende a pertenecerle a los ajedrecistas mas experimentados y de una edad mucho mas avanzada es bien sabido que abundan los intentos de demostrar que el talento aun en edades muy tempranas superan hasta a ajedrecistas de años de experiencia. La escuela india de ajedrez a demostrado que una buena base para sus jovenes puede decir mucho, pues hoy el joven Gukesh ha completado su nivel de elo necesario para convertirse en el granmaestro a la temprana edad de 12 años
