Era un ser informe, una amalgama visceral de láminas fibrosas que ondeaban incesantemente y fagocitaba todo lo que se encontraba en su camino. Se movía, sin rumbo, por aquella árida estepa, y su mera visión invitaba a la locura. ¿Cómo era posible que aquella especie hubiese colonizado las estrellas?
