Aurora warning: HAPPENING NOW in Russia/Scandinavia, if it stays active, North America tonight as well.

GEOMAGNETIC STORMS UNDERWAY: Geomagnetic activity is intensifying as Earth passes through the wake of a CME that hit our planet yesterday. Currently, a G1-class storm is in progress. Polar sky watchers should be alert for auroras on Oct. 13-14. Spaceweather

"Tonight is an amazing night in Kiruna, Sweden. Before it was even really dark the aurora was dancing wildly and bright! This was taken at 7pm, amazing aurora over the mine LKAB here in town and the lake Ala Lombolo which is starting to freeze over. :)"

If you live in northern Europe, chances are you can see it now, there are reports from all over Norway/Sweden of people currently watching them. If this storm continues, Canada should get a good show, and Northern US may see them as well. Anyone under a red area will see them, green zones are more of possibility if you look North.
