Starman and his Tesla Roadster have passed Mars

New calculations have been performed; according to the models of Ben Pearson the space dummy will approach the Earth only in 2 years and will be 32 million miles (about 51 million kilometers). In that period, however, it will be closer to Mars than to Earth, with a distance of 4.6 million miles (about 7 million kilometers).

According to these estimates, Starman and his Tesla Roadster could revisit the Earth around 2091 unless an unexpected collision occurs; in these cases Starman could remain only for thousands if not, even millions of years.
