What I know about solar panels is that they generate energy even in cloudy weather, but at a much lower rate. During winter, you'll need to rely on energy suppliers, but the rest of the time, you're off-grid)))
The ‘much lower rate’ is giving me a stomach ache right now, but it's November... ;-)
Yes, we are very happy and will beat the grid... :-))
