Super Solandra.

The Solandra maxima is also called the Cup of Gold Vine and Golden Chalice Vine. This is a large woody climber which can easily grow between the branches and over a small tree or large trellis. it's large yellow flowers and shiny leaves are borne through Spring and Summer. The flowers have a pleasant scent too. The Solandra is best suited to a temperate , warm or tropical climate, and is a fast growing plant, and as such requires plenty of water. Handle with care as the flowers and foliage are toxic.... beauty comes with a price ! Native to Central and South America.This plant was happily growing on Sydney's North Shore.
