While dishonesty is baked into leftist dogma (Mwarx, Lenin, Negri, Gramsci), the specific tool of identity politics as "victimology" is born of the Frankfurt School and wholeheartedly modified for use against Americans in New Left politics (Marcuse, Alinsky)

I figgered they covered the Frankfurt School, but there is the deliberate use of dishonesty that has always been part of leftist ideology from the beginning.
