A Place Where you Can Dump your Dirty Laundry and Secrets Anonymously is Great
Secrets! Shameful secrets! And shit that happens at home or with your family or your job where you wouldn’t dare to talk about on Facebook and yet you can’t stand holding it in! I mean who can?
Yep it’s incredibly uncool to dump your dirty laundry on Facebook as that not only creates plenty of unfriending but it tarnishes your reputation.
But the good news is that you can dump your secrets, dirty laundry or whatever else is on your mind anonymously through an app called Whisper.
Obviously you don’t want to pull stupid shit like making threats of any kind because there is only so much that is private and if you were to do that the cops will be at your door in no time. Free speech only goes so far.
There is no guarantee that you won’t get any kind of judgemental remarks for something you share. But more times than not, Whisper members are quite supportive.
They are in the same boat. They have loads of dirty laundry and secrets they just can’t share on other forms of social media, and they use Whisper for that purpose.
By the way no one goes by their real names and if they did it would defeat the purpose. But I didn’t share this because there was no need. I just took a screen shot of that and deleted it.
LMAO. I have been on the ole' whisper many times. You will get jerks and/ Or weirdos responding but it is basically anonymous.
I have already encountered a few jerks but like you said it’s anonymous and most of the time it’s supportive.

As a person who has occasionally meandered around on Whisper, I take offense to the labels of jerk and weirdo.
Not saying they aren’t appropriate - still offended. 😁

Jerks are assholes and there are some there who are quite alright with hiding behind a screen
