The Good, the Bad, the Ugly!

Those reading through Topics of today, may just stop and question - "Hey, not another Spaghetti Western Review?!" We like those too. But actually this article is about the Social Media Trend of #IFB.

IFB is a simple concept that has taken flight on most SM platforms. Simply put it means: I Follow Back. You follow me. I follow you.

There are Pro's and Con's to doing this.

THE GOOD

You want more than the 50-100 friends you currently really know & have in your life. (Perhaps you have a Service to Offer, a Product to Sell or you want to become the next Big Social Media Influencer). Simply find a Gain Influencer, start Tweeting, Sharing and Reply #IFB and the Followers will come.

It looks GREAT! to others that you have a lot of Followers.

THE BAD

Once you start accepting strangers into your circle, your Home Feed changes. Now you are filled with Junk from Anyone and Everyone. (If you're OK with that, you still can always Search for what you're looking for.)

Same way you wont be looking at your Feed, they won't be looking at theirs. (So your Post will get lost without #Hashtags)

THE UGLY

We're a couple from NY who has left the 9-5 Rat Race. We Write, We Blog, We Post, We Share. Rarely will you get a glimpse of us in real life photo's. We're part of the F.I.R.E. Movement, so we are either in our Pajama's drinking coffee, on the beach fishing or out back BBQing low-and-slow! We're younger than 50, but some would say old farts and ugly as hell.
