@steemph.cebu is a community account committed to discover quality contents, building healthy community, and maximizing Cebu's Philippines' Potential.

With the vision of making Steemph.cebu as a premier Sndcastle account aiming to support a much larger network of Steemians not only in Cebu but also to the Philippine community as a whole. We would like to focus more on community driven projects in the near future to flourish the word of steemit and to create an impact on people's lives, Filipino steemians and to Steemit Inc. itself.

Making Steemph.cebu as a Communal Curating Account

We strongly believe curation is an important thing in building communities. With the hope of distributing @steemph.cebu's rewards, we also would like to extend our services by means of curation. We curate contents from the Cebu community and are committed to reward those quality contributions.

The Goal

Currently, @steemph.cebu is having 1,050 Steem Power which is a good start to curate good contents. The means of having this Stake is essential to the community we are building. We are starting to reward those valuable contents for users situated in Cebu city by means of upvoting posts.

and we want to make @steemph.cebu a Significant Steem Power Holder able to reward Cebuano Authors

With that, we are proposing two things to Speed up @steemph.cebu's Steem Power holding (for bigger upvote value). We are inspired by the challenge @sndbox admins @voronoi & @hansikhouse in building Steemph.cebu as a communal curation account for Cebu and to the Visayan community.

• 1. Power-up 50 SBD per week

Converting 50 SBD per week into Steem Power will be a big thing for the account's curation. By any means, we aim to make this thing a need. Investing on Steem Power by our SBD earnings will create a big boost on @steemph.cebu's curation activities, increasing its upvote value.

The remaining SBDs will be used for community rewards like (Contests, Feature of Authors, Community Question), Community Driven events (like what we did in World Food Day & Gift Giving Day), and most especially in the establishing of the 1st Philippine Offline Steemit Hub. We are currently doing thins step by step and reaching the goal closer. With the help of Steemit community, we're glad to be able to reach that dream more achievable.

• 2. Steemph.cebu Vote Registration

Steemit users situated in Cebu can avail @steemph.cebu's vote services by registering their account. This means, a user earns @steemph.cebu's autovote when he completes his registration. To be a registered user, a Steemian needs to send 1-3 SBD (we are still thinking a win-win amount for the registration) then a user gets a spot on @steemph.cebu's autovote list. All of the SBD earnings from the registration will be used to power-up, boosting the Steem Power stake of Steemph.cebu. The autovote will last for a couple of months, as the administrators of this page were also busy and the voting influence of this account is not properly utilized. With that, we are proposing this scheme to reward our Steem Power stake and at the same time earn curation and registration rewards.

We would like to present our planned upcoming events in the year 2018. One of our biggest goals is to expand more the network of Cebu community thru participation on Cebu's community events like Festivities, Fun-runs, and most especially our planned Steemit Cebu Convention/Steemfest. We are committed to pursue these kinds of initiatives in relevance to Steemit promotion.

These will be the following events :

• Sinulog Steemit Invasion

Sinulog is an annual celebration honoring the patron of Cebu, Sr. Santo Nino held every third Sunday of January. It is one of the grandest festivals in the Philippines with both local and international tourists attending the different Sinulog activities.

Steemph.cebu would like to gather Cebu Steemians to join the Sinulog 2017 celebration and pursue them to cooperate in promoting steemit in the said event. We will be pouring out our time to invade Sinulog Festival and at the same time, Steemit will get the wider scope of audiences with excellent potential and discover the great opportunities for them.

With the said initiative, as a way to promote Steemit and do another humanitarian effort, we would like to do these services to the people participating Sinulog :

• Free bottled water (with a logo of Steemit on the bottle water)
• Free Steemit Pins
• Flyers and Plackards
• Steemit + Steemph.cebu Photobooth
• Free Packed Lunch (Meal) for Cebuano Steemians and Volunters
• Free Steemit Shirts for Cebuano Steemians
• Free Face and Body Paint (Steemit logo) :)

We surely know that the event will be tiring but we want to do it sincerely to fulfill what we want for Cebu Steemians and for the benefit of Steemit, Steemph.cebu, and most especially to the Steemit, inc.

• Steemit Marathon

As a committed communal account for the Cebu community, @steemph.cebu would like to participate and support organizational events like fun run, making our Cebuano Steemians be able to participate on it. This would be the very first steemit funded marathon planned to be held in the Philippines, specifically here in Cebu. With this, we are taking steps one by one to tap with the leading organizations of Cebu to support them. The steemph.cebu family will be organizing this event in support for a certain charity or some beneficiaries. We will be allocating the funds for steemit promotion and the funds gathered from the participating crowd will be donated to the charitable institution/s.

The team saw the possibility to support any sporting event in the country. We believe these type of initiative creates a big impact for steem as it's still on it's growth period especially on progressive and engaging countries.

• Steemit Cebu Convention - Steemfest Cebu, Philippines

We've been longing to see a wide coverage of steemians here in Cebu, a convention we want to materialize in essence of uniting Cebuano steemians. But! We are not limited to invite Filipino Steemians coming from different provinces and cities. Everybody is welcome and hopefully we can grab @surpassinggoogle's ass here in Cebu, our very own whale.

Just like the annual steemfest from steemit inc., we aim for every steemian to join the event by providing crowdfunded support to local steemians and tickets for domestic steemians i. e from Luzon, Mindanao and neighboring provinces of Visayas. The team wants to give more knowledge about the platform and the blockchain. We feel that, in this initiative, we can boost up confidence and sustainability to Filipino Steemians.

We are taking Steps to Achieve these Initiative

Having committed and community-driven core leaders of @steemph.cebu, we are currently doing our best to achieve these things we mention here. Having a vision of Steemit as the next generation of source of income for Cebuanos and the Visayan community, we strongly and wholeheartedly doing our very best to fulfill them.
