I've noticed a lot more charities popping up on steemit and they do help a lot. It gets funds to places that need it much faster and more direct then the old ways of doing it. I hope that this becomes a bigger thing and give the less fortunate the means to earn money on a blockchain style platform. Maybe we will have a school style blockchain at some point to teach people how to read and write in places that they don't have accesses to education. Can you imagine how many lives could be changed in 3rd world countries but they would need a computer and a power source. #blockchainschool #blockchainteachers
