Check Out the Official Launch of Sndbox! The Next Big Thing for Steemit

Ladies and gentlemen, the time is finally here and I'm thrilled to announce with @voronoi our next step in nurturing real-world impact with our next project. The launch of Steem Park wasn't the final destination, instead only the first stop in a long journey that we've been planning for a long time. Many of you saw the tiny teaser from last week and today I'm here to make good on that promise.

We Need to Support Content

Not like Facebook or Instagram or Youtube or Twitter. Though these give a platform for diverse content, they do so in order to bolster their own value mission. Youtube needs your good content to be a viable company and service. To ensure that value, they make it very difficult for anyone to start with a rewarding process. You must reach a very high level following and viewership to even qualify for a bit of compensation.

So it boils down to this incredibly disempowering fact – there are no services or platforms that inherently support and reward creative professionals for their work. Without a private client or some other form of external backing, you're on your own kiddo.

An Accelerator Program for Creative and Entrepreneurial Spirits

It took @voronoi, me, and both of us at @hitheryon months to get “into the groove” of Steemit. Learning the ins and outs was no small feat and it was a very long while before we saw any meaningful returns. Especially in late fall/early winter, the level of optimism about Steemit as a viable financial model wasn't very reassuring either. Still, we believed firmly that this meant something more than a few bucks in the bank or some exciting “minting” opportunity for crypto. It signaled a new door of opportunity for people like us, hungry to put our creative ambitions onto a real outlet.

Yet despite our vision, we still haven't witnessed a high level of registration from our creative colleagues in the real world. Few architects, actors, comedians, performers, magicians, etc. have come onto Steemit, and I believe it is of 1 key reason – the website is still unfortunately too confusing and arduous to effectively integrate into a creative profession. Barely anyone has several months to spare when alternatives like Instagram offer one-click registration and streamlined processes.

We at @Sndbox aim to change all that. We see Steemit and the STEEM blockchain being the best emerging tool for creatives, entrepreneurs, and any other serious content creators. Forging a better version of that tool will be our full-time mission moving forward and we're excited, honored, and still very much in disbelief that we're sharing it with you all today.
