Hello Steemians, on day 1 of the Steemfest² in Lisbon, our lovely @mrs.steemit (Uma Hagenguth) hold a speech about her new APPICS project she is preparing together with @sirwinchester and many other Steemians in the moment.
The concept sounds really interesting and this will be the first Steemit Smart Media Token which I will support. 👍
In this article I want to give you some more information about the @appics project and a few photo impressions of the speech by @mrs.steemit.

What is APPICS?
APPICS is a new reward-based social media application that turns “likes” into currency: get rewarded for sharing your passion online!

I want to answer a question of a Steemian to @mrs-steemit on the Steemfest² too, because it was about the difference between APPICS & Steepshot and Uma haven´t tested Steepshot so far, so she was not able to answer to this question:
The difference between APPICS & Steepshot is, that you will earn the cryptocurrency reward-token "XAP" with the APPICS app, so you can earn additional rewards!
Steepshot is just linked with Steemit and your Steepshot posts are posted on your Steemit profile, so that it are the same rewards like when you are posting on Steemit. This is one of the main reasons why Im already loving APPICS, it will be an additional income source for Steemians!**

Ja ich finde euer Konzept großartig und genau das hatte ich mir eigentlich von Steepshot & DTube gewünscht, dass es eine zusätzliche Einnahmequelle ist. Es ist zwar auch cool, dass Steepshot & DTube automatisch auf Steemit postet und damit die Rewards gleich sind, aber es ist halt quasi keine neue Plattform, sondern eine Verlinkung. Ich bin mega gespannt auf den Launch eures Projektes und unterstütze es gerne! Wenn ihr mal Zeit dafür habt, lass uns auch gerne mal treffen und persönlich weiter über APPICS austauschen und wie wir kooperieren können. 👍
