Sharjah Thursday Evening, United Arab Emirates
It is the holy month of Ramadan. Even though it is the beginning of the weekend, it is much quieter than usual. Many people in the UAE will be breaking the fast at this time.
Friday and Saturday are the weekend days in the United Arab Emirates. Sharjah is an Emirate which links directly north of Dubai.
Tonight I was walking through the Al Majaz waterfront with my wife, @sherylneil, and my boy, Robbie. They stop for a cuddle.
The good thing about Ramadan is that the working day is reduced by 2 hours. The problem is that the park opens very late. Not enough time for Robbie to play. However, it is nice to walk via waterfront.
