Увидев у @juliank тему для смартфонофото «squares», я поняла её как «квадраты», то есть фигуры с четырьмя равными сторонами. Что это может быть? Рисунок на тарелке, плитка на стене, полу или потолке, решетка… Но первое что пришло в голову - шахматная доска!
На шахматной доске разворачиваются самые настоящие бои. Игроки командуют своими армиями, продумывают стратегии, искренне радуются или огорчаются.
У меня дома есть несколько видов шахмат, правда я лично играть в них не умею.

Про шахматы я почти забыла. Точнее, они постоянно на виду, и доску используем в качестве полочки :-)) Но про фото сообразила, когда увидела у одной фотохудожницы в Голосе. У неё фото цветов было с использованием этих шахмат.
Вот и тут я сразу вспомнила :-)))
