Interest Bearing Smart Token

Hey Steemians today I was looking at Dapps/ smart contracts and I started to formulate an idea. one of the problems i have noticed that come with these new tokens is maintaining value over an extended periods of time and keeping investors interested. So I was thinking about the possibility of creating a Token that won't have an ICO but will have a lottery where say 10 million of about 50 million tokens are released in a lottery to people who signed up to take part in the first emission. The kicker is that the person will have 80% of the free tokens they received locked up in an interest bearing smart contract for say 1 year. This could prevent the possibility of any major dumping for at least a year as 8 million or more of the 10 million tokens are in contracts that are growing in size as the coins are emitted as interest. I would also like to make it so they can choose to renew their investment and initiate savings contracts as well. Of course I would also have to figure out an emission plan for the rest of the coins. I am focusing this post on the question of is it possible to create such a token with savings like attributes or would it be better to create a fork of a Proof of Stake coin? I would love to hear from an of you that have experience with Tokens and Smart Contracts!
