Smart Cash is the latest project I have been looking into (sorta late but still kinda early) and so far, I like every single aspect about it which is pretty rare, as I am an over-analytical guy who's made too many mistakes.

So I was on Coin Market Cap, the FOMO was a bit too real, as @smartcash is up over 100% in a day and 200% in a week as I'm trying to get in... Hilarious, awesome and tragic at the same time. I will have to place a sell order for a dip or just accept SmartCash as payment because Smart Cash has bigger plans than the moon (: I especially like how there is a community voting process for real-world projects. This potential excites me because it's exactly what our present and future people need!

So once the fomo was over, I checked out the Social Media Tab on Coin Market Cap, and Low And Behold, my favorite, and no doubt the best open-sourced social media platform, Steemit, was not there.

"What a temporary thing," I thought to myself. Because nobody foresees the change that eventual mass-adoption brings. For example, when some of us first joined Facebook, when it first came out, we weren't complaining about an phone app being 100% necessary for interest to be granted. We instantly got hooked on just producing content and giving it out in mass quantities, while being subjected to advertisements that the website was profiting off of massively and not sharing any of the profits. We all, after thinking about missing out on at least the face value of your content, and also being sublminally bombarded with ads and brands and logos... It's just nonsensical to not join Steemit. At the very least, it's the best social media platform. It's definitely best in other categories as well...

Steemit has the best distribution plan that has ever been conceived.

It is not only a distribution plan for one of the best cryptocurrencies, built on one of the best softwares, with one of the best communities, and also incentivizes connecting with people who are normally deemed "strangers". There is much Bigger-Picture shit going on here, on Steemit, and for once, with a social media site, I'm actually proud to be here on Steemit, and I think we, as early-adopters, (yes, even if you joined today or a year from now) we're all early-adopters, perhaps until it comes out of Beta (?) (: What do you think? Because I think Steemit will be a Top 10 App within months of it being released to the app store, making the recent 100% growth in new users from the past couple months look like nothing, once people's browsers mine the tiny amount of Steem (Power) needed for minimum bandwidth access to the blockchain. People like to look at Steem, look at the dollar value or the satoshi value, but this coin has UTILITY far beyond the financial aspects as a store of value.

Wouldn't it be cool, if there was a Coin Market Coin, that no matter what, followed the trend of the overall market cap?

For example, some people, who actually day-trade Steem on exchanges (yes we know about you) could have potentially been bag-hodling for over a year, as the price was only briefly above $2. It was weird joining right around then. Your upvote was worth more, and thus, the author and curation rewards as well. How beautiful is that? I am very stoked for Steem to start building it's support lines up ( Because I think one day people are going to look back and laugh that Steem was ever under a dollar! If somebody makes a good post on Steemit or even shit-apps like Facebook talking about the Coin Market Cap, who knows, maybe one day they will be Upvoted a Coin Market Coin, whether they like it or not (: I think that Steemit is what is going to connect everyone with everything, and there's something POWERFUL about that.
