Why would you want to infuse fruits in water instead of eating your fruits directly?

The body needs nothing less than 2.5 litres of water daily to flush out toxins from the body system and keep the skin hydrated.

For some, it's easy to drink a drum full of water and for others, its punishment.

When you infuse your fruits in water, it adds some flavour to the water and makes it easier and fun to drink.

Adding freshly grated carrots as in the image above, changes the taste of the water from plain to a carroty flavour.

It also helps to detoxify your system as well depending on the type of fruit infused.

Lemon slices and ginger is very good for detox.

When you infuse fruits in water, you keep replacing the water as you drink till the end of the day.

You could choose from cucumber, watermelon, orange, pawpaw, pineapple, tangerine......

You could also add herbs either dried or fresh such as hibiscus calyx, beetroot.....

As you drink, you detoxify your system, keep your skin hydrated and the glow becomes evident.
