Good morning my dear friends of this beautiful community STEEMIT, I hope you are well; Today I come here to participate in the challenge of the fifth week of #sixweekhealth organized by @healthsquared and @sweetsssj. This week is about how we do to keep fit and active.

How to stay fit and active for me is not difficult at all; it's something that I like and enjoy; Since I had my youngest daughter I stopped attending the gym for three reasons, the care that my little one deserves, the time and the difficult situation that is being lived in my country. But this has not limited me to being in shape because I looked for how to do my exercises at home, maintain a healthy diet and until now I have done well; Sometimes I get a few kilos but then when I realize brake and the goal to be in shape.

Drinking water

Experts recommend drinking 8 glasses of water a day; This is something that I always accomplish since I know it brings multiple benefits such as reducing appetite, staying more active, hydrated, improves digestion and constipation; among others.

Eat healthy

Eating healthy and well proportioned meals, it may be sufficient to perform a minimum of exercise. This keeps me energized and also prevents fat from accumulating making it easier to stay in shape. Consuming protein helps me maintain my muscles and also gives me the energy I lose now that I exercise less.

Include salads daily in order to maintain a healthy diet.

Walk

I always had the habit of walking an hour every day in the park of my house; due to various situations that escape from my hands I had to modify; Now I have to go to my place of work walking and return in the same way due to the lack of transportation; which takes 20 minutes to go and 20 to return; I took this very assertively and decided to enjoy it and take it as a routine to keep myself in shape. I am also always pending to participate in walks. Another thing that I like is to go to walks where I have to walk I enjoy it to the fullest.

Perform a daily exercise routine at home

At seven o'clock in the evening after I have finished doing all my chores from Monday to Friday I am ready to do exercises to keep myself in shape.

Sports activities in the workplace

Every Thursday at my work site, the Visual and Blind Deficient Care Center carry out sports activities with blind adult participants in order to motivate them to practice sports, we have some included in goalball and others in athletics.
