This is the continuation of my SIN2 Experience So Far, and it just keeps getting better. Today I will be bringing highlights and updates from what happened during one of the conferences slated during the general event titled All About Blockchain.

The conference held on the 31st of October and it started by 11am. By that time, all the participants were already good to go as we were very prepared. Most of us had our writing materials to use to take down notes of things we were going to be learning from the speakers.

Meet The Speakers

They came from far and near to share with us their wealth of knowledge on the Blockchain and I learnt so many things from each one them. They are Chris Ani, @fisteganos and @xpency

They spoke extensively about the Blockchain and I wrote down some things in my note pad that I would share with you all.

THINGS I WROTE DOWN!

Some words from @xpency

Bitcoin brought the idea of immunity. Any transaction done on the Blockchain can never be hidden.
The first generation of blockchain that involves a peer to peer transaction without a middle man.
There are people called miners and they are the ones responsible for solving the mathematics on the Blockchain.

Some words from @fisteganos

A Blockchain is a ledger where your datas are saved. There are different blocks done in every 10 minutes. Blockchain is extremely difficult to hack. The Blockchain technology puts power in your hands.
Bitcoin records Financial Transactions. Information entered into the blockchain ledger is secured as a result of decentralization and that makes it Security Wise.

Some words from "Chris Ani"

The miners are not concerned about your transaction details. They have no power with your transactions. They only solve the mathematics/algorithm to make your transaction completed. They also secure the transaction with their system.
You can use the Blockchain to do different things such as efficiency, record-keeping and also encourages transparency. Live transactions can be recorded on the blockchain as well.
The first application of Blockchain is Finance. Bitcoin is now like a church, because it now has a positive and social movement. "ENCRYPTED MONEY"

While all the lectures were going on, we the participants and attendees listened with rapt attention and also discussed the topics afterward.
