There’s gold….

Afternoon everyone ….

As I wrote in yesterday’s post. My shop build passed both final inspections. I had expected to pass both, so I had arranged my work schedule to be home on Wednesday to start moving some of my stuff into the new shop.

Well…..

The weather did not cooperate. It was only supposed to rain a little in the morning and clear up by 10am, per what the weather people said. Of course they were wrong, and it rained the entire day. And we are supposed to have rain every day until Sunday now because of hurricane Debbie which is coming up the east coast.

I did some shop work in the morning, but got to a stand still since all my clamps were in use on what I had glued up.

My mom asked to go to Costco to shop. I usually take her about once a month to stock up on stuff we use frequently.

They have one ounce PAMP Suisse bars for sale.

I’ve seen ten ounce Royal Canadian Mint bars before. But this is the first time I’ve seen gold at Costco in my area.

In searching prices on these bars on a few on line bullion dealers. Costco is between $25-$50 cheaper than anyone that I saw. I didn’t go crazy looking, some dealers didn’t have them in stock either.

Thought I’d share my gold find. I asked if the price changes when spot price moves. The manager said yes it does.
