Dragon Phoenix PERFECTION
Afternoon everyone....
While I am far from perfect. I love getting my hands on coins that are perfect. Which is truly only possible with modern coins.
In true vintage numismatics, last time I had check a few years ago. There were only 83 known graded pre 1955 numismatic coins with a grade of MS68+. That is the highest grade that has been issued to a pre 1955 coin.
I have several pre 1955 coins that are graded MS66 or MS66+ in my collection. But there is an enormous price difference between just those two numbers.
Anyhow...
The only time I try to find a modern graded coin is when a series first begins. Why? First off because you can usually if you find them early can get an MS70 graded one for a decent price. Second the first in all series tends to have the highest value. Three if you pick the right series you will be in for a nice payday.
Today I am going to share a coin that fits all three of those buying points. I bought this graded MS70 coin in a presale. It's a first of a series. It's worth more than double what I paid for it.
Win, Win, Win....
The coin is the Perth Mint Dragon Phoenix coin. It was the first release and it is in perfect MS70 grade.
