I agree completely that becoming a parent can be the catalyst that some of us need to focus on what is most important. I feel it was for me. Very nice post. Thank you for sharing these thoughts.
Not everyone is cut out to be a parent, even though many are. But, if paying attention the potential for personal growth is enormous and I am unsure how much of it is possible to attain without being a parent.
