Purse.io is a website that lets you buy Amazon products for Bitcoin. Now it is not that Amazon is taking bitcoin. They definitely are not, there are, apparently, a group of people that have Amazon gift cards and they cannot buy bitcoin because Amazon doesn't sell cryptocurrency either. So purse.io makes it all possible by matching you with one of those folks. He or she pays for your order with their gift card, and they get bitcoin.

But WAIT there's more... You get a discount, or rather you're selling your bitcoin at a premium.

So here is a tip for those of you that want to save more on purse.io

The site uses a 15% a default, but you can adjust it manually, and you absolutely can get the greater discount. First do not shop through purse.io , but rather shop directly on Amazon. Put your desired item on your "wish list" and get the link. Now go back and paste that link into the purse.io search bar. During that process, you will see a slider bar for discounts. Do not be afraid to ask for a bigger discount then the bar suggests. You might just get it, but be prepared to wait, or even have the transaction cancelled. I've done it a lot and only one was canceled.
