24 octubre 2003. El Concorde realizaba su último vuelo comercial hace 15 años. Operaba a unos 18.000 metros de altitud, muy por encima del resto de vuelos comerciales, a una velocidad de Mach 2. A esas velocidades, la fricción provocaba que se alargara por dilatación unos 20cm.
