When they visualize a hot woman that meets their beauty standards, then they expect that women are “more active in the dating scene”. When a woman that doesn't meet their beauty ideals embraces herself and says she deserves baseline love and respect, these same dudes ridicule.
They also complain that this current dating scene (that says men act upon and women are acted upon) makes them feel predatory, and yet they can't actually handle when women don't play “hard to get”, when women reject them, or when women put themselves first.
In other words, they aren't thinking about women’s welfare at all. They just want women to act in yet another specific way to get their rocks off.
But again, you are generalizing. There are also that "hot female bombshels" if a fat and ugly nerd would approach them they would act in a simmilar way you described. You CAN'T generalize men or female.
