We know people all over the world watch porn. Some consume it in obsessive amounts, others are not even legally "allowed" to watch it and yet they do so anyways. Is it possible people have developed a problem with porn simply by not talking openly about it? I ponder these questions every time I attempt to share my life here, are people better off without porn?
I feel the root issue is the lack of sexual conversation and education. Yes I hold the industry accountable for the type of content they produce and what it stands for. This was one of the main reasons I stepped down from mainstream performing. However the deeper I've felt into it the more I see the answer is not to castrate the porn industry, it is to find balance and help evolve it.
The porn industry is dominating sex education today. If you are not active in this conversation you may as well invite Pornstars to influence your children and all future generations.
If the subject of sex and porn is seen as taboo, how do we encourage open and honest sexual exploration? Changing societal attitudes towards sex and thus the quality of pornography can be transformed in a single generation. Basic lust and instant gratification could easily be revised to inspire mutual appreciation and an interest in balanced sexual union.
Yes I am a parent and I love my son dearly. I know I'll be facing a different kind of challenge in the future as his father and role model. Yet we aim to be our best as guides to his innerstanding of sex, love and respect for others. For us it's inevitable, we've had to feel deeply into the subject of porn and sexuality because of our past. Yet so many parents avoid the topic and project their own judgements/shame on the youth.
I asked myself how can I truly be of service to others?
How will I guide my family through a world of judgement and prejudice? How do we neutralize the amount of hatred and violence promoted and even glamorized in our world. I wish to share with others how to cultivate, manage and express our sexual energy towards loving and healing the whole. Of all the things we face in the future, promoting healthy and balanced sexuality is one of the most important foundations of who we all be and become.
What are your thoughts on this? I'm interested in hearing what other open minded folks feel about porn. Let's work together to improve our relationships with ourselves and each other. For me the first step is to accept what is, porn is here. It is neither good nor bad, it is the observer who decides it all.

Porn is great but really bad for you, drains your energy and makes it impossible to be the most efficient.

Really @shaz? I agree it can be great but is it the porn that drains your energy or is it the overuse and lack of self discipline?
That's a very intelligent way of looking at it; porn is there, it's not good or bad, but it is all about how the viewer perceives it. I've always considered it a very natural profession, but - fairly or unfairly - is considered taboo amongst the average person. Sex and exploration are both very natural things, as long as you don't overdo it, it should be there to be enjoyed just like any other film or entertainment outlet
@lewisjfclarke Right brother! I do best not living in should, would or could man. Who perceives any one or other as over or under doing a thing? When is one con-sidered professional at a thing and by whom? I agree with what you said in mostly different words; Sex is the essence of exploration, it can be empowering, enlightening and all so entertaining. Life is great in joy, fun and freedom, some might record it, some may also watch it. Thanks for adding.
As my previous comment, we cannot seperate us from sex because it is part of us. And becauss it is a taboo things that porn is the way for teenage to get sex education.
