How to Turn a Vegas Slut into a Sexual Assault Victim in 3 Easy Steps! - A Case Study in Modern Brainswashing

in #sex7 years ago (edited)

The brainwashing process involves a predictable pattern:

  1. Allow Guilt to Break Down the Understanding of Self. “You are not the good person you think you are.” The target, not wanting this thought to be true, searches for ways to resolve the cognitive dissonance, reaching for something that will reduce the pain: “I’m a bad person, but it hurts to admit it. How can I escape this mental pain?”

  2. Introduce Salvation. “You’re not bad; rather, the cause of your pain is X. Embrace this and let go of your guilt.” The new idea need not offer sense, only relief.

  3. Rebuild and Reinforce a New Sense of Self. The target, having denounced old beliefs, is encouraged to seal the deal: “You get it. You’re now enlightened like we are. Confess it publicly.”

In a simple, repeatable process, these steps will convince a soldier to turn against his country, a child against its parent, or, as we will see, a sensible woman against humanity.

Let's examine one girl's story of transformation from a rational-thinking human to a zombified thrall (as told at http://www.mindbodygreen.com/0-21763/i-didnt-realize-i-was-sexually-assaulted-heres-why-im-sharing-my-story-now.html), thanks to the classic brainwashing pattern.

Setting the Slutty Stage

Landing in Vegas with her girlfriends and apparently anticipating a left-the-boyfriend-behind Bacchanal, freshly minted college grad Erin Davidson made a beeline for the nearest “large, messy pool party.” Soon, boozing it well into the night and having chatted up the boys, Davidson ditched her friends and bounced to the room of a “professional athlete” who had “flattered” her with his attention at the party.

Predictably, Davidson was soon on her back, allowing said athlete to get in some vigorous off-season aerobic conditioning, all while a buddy watched from a few feet away, congratulating the dude for banging the “hot ginger”. Claiming to not remember whether she said “yes” or “no” to the situation, the “hot” (but not particularly bothered) Davidson made no attempt to stop the show.

"Hot?" Maybe a 6, with beer goggles

Having fulfilled the dream of going to Vegas, getting trashed, and banging the first willing dude with biceps, Davidson awoke the following day and exhibited some appropriate remorse:

“I was so ashamed and angry with myself…. The weeks after this trip were the worst days of my life…. [a] constant loop of self-blame.”

Noting—with remarkable sagacity—that inebriation is “never” an excuse, Davidson concluded:

  • she “should not have been drinking for so long,”
  • she “should have stayed with her friends,” and, well,
  • she “did go to Vegas" to party.

Brainwashing Step One: The Morning-After Red Pill

Still consumed with guilt (or spite—she doesn’t say and we’ll never know), Davidson informed her boyfriend of her dirty deeds. Rather than pull the Eject Handle on this literally cucked relationship, the “pained” boyfriend chose instead to ignore the cuckoldry and carry on as before (which shines some light onto why Davidson was so easily smitten in Vegas by a man who didn’t behave like he was injecting estrogen intravenously).

Brainwashing Step One was accomplished: Davidson felt guilty. But the pain of accepting such a verdict was too much, and she sought relief. Still trying to battle her inner demons, she confessed her sins to her Counseling Psychology class …

Brainwashing Step Two: SJWs to the Rescue—er, Reprogramming

… which instantly offered salvation: because Erin had been drinking, it was not her fault!

That’s right; Davidson’s choice to put her feet behind her ears for a stranger wasn’t slutty, nor was it an unfortunate indiscretion—it wasn’t even her choice. Rather, she was told, she was unable to consent and thus had been “sexually assaulted.”

To Erin’s credit, she at first resisted her brainwashers. But in the end, she couldn’t resist the soothing relief from a stinging conscience that their contentions offered:

“It took other people telling me I was not to blame for the truth to slowly sink in…. It took many hours of counseling, sharing my story, journaling, and self-reflection for me to truly believe that I did not “deserve” what had happened to me…. It destroyed my self-concept, exposed all of my insecurities, and forced me to rebuild my self-view from scratch.”

Davidson’s brainwashing (notice she even uses the official terminology!) proceeded like clockwork:

“It took a lot of work, but through the rebuilding process, I no longer have this deep need for others to validate me.”

How convenient! Once everyone in your circle approves of and congratulates you, you no longer crave their validation! And surely your need for validation had nothing to do with mentioning the “professional athlete” status of your one night stand, nor his buddy’s purported “hot ginger” comment. No, those were totally material to your story of “assault”, because what woman would voluntarily sleep with a professional athlete and then tell her friends?

Ginger hotness: the face that sank a thousand ships?

Brainwashing Step Three: Blue Pill Mindset Cemented

The brainwashing having already unraveled Ms. Davidson’s brain, it was child’s play for her to embrace the final step: denouncing her beliefs.

“What happened [in Vegas] was a sexual assault because I at no time wanted to or consented to having sex. It was a decision that young man made without involving me.”

You don’t say! Only a few hundred words earlier Davidson said she didn’t remember if she’d said Yes or No. Was she also drunk while writing this account?

“I can never know for sure what the experience was like for that man in Las Vegas, but I am doubtful that he has thought about this night every damn day since it happened. I doubt that he woke up the next day filled with regret or worry about what happened.”

Perfect, and once again, convenient. There’s no way Erin’s erstwhile boy toy can regret his [equally drunk] mistakes. Never mind that he may well have awoken the next morning and thought, “Oh, sheet—I hit that? I don’t even remember if I said Yes or No!”

To be congruent with feminist logic, Boy Toy should have continued, “I must’ve been sexually assaulted”—but good luck finding a feminist who will conclude the same. Davidson, on the other hand, seems to have easily assimilated the cult’s philosophy:

“Turn on the radio, listen to almost any song, and you will find a message of male dominance and female submissiveness. I am a huge rap fan and it took me months before I could separate the music from the lyrics and listen to the genre without cringing.”

LMFAO. No, seriously! Back in Vegas, before the lobotomy took effect, LMFAO’s Shots was clearly Davidson’s go-to rap track. Separating the music from the lyrics doesn’t seem to have been an issue for her:

The women come around every time I'm pourin' shots
Their panties hit the ground every time I give 'em shots

The brainwashing concludes with a textbook renunciation of former beliefs:

“I no longer blame myself for the assault or for how I dealt with it…. I am deeply grateful to all of the people who were there for me during this difficult time and to everyone who told me it was not my fault. If you or someone you care about is struggling to deal with a sexual assault, being told it is not your fault can make a world of difference.”

Atta girl! How brave of you to come to terms with the painful truth, and then to bring your assailant to justice!

Wait, what? You mean you didn’t report his rapist ass to the police? This monster clearly belongs in prison! How else will we protect future reckless sluts who fall for his chiseled body and semi-celebrity status? Or is it that you, Erin Davidson, are merely a fraud, afraid of the civil lawsuits, potential criminal charges, and public shaming that would follow if you did name him as a rapist after you invited his advances?

Conclusion

Erin Davidson’s “I Didn't Realize I Was Sexually Assaulted. Here's Why I'm Sharing My Story Now” is a rich account of brainwashing in practice. It’s sad to watch her fall; it’s sadder still to realize that legions of people in society have, like she has, already undergone Step One and are primed to justify their own bad choices as no choice at all.

Fortunately, you can help. Defenses against brainwashing exist: when the voice of reason is the loudest spoken amongst a people, propaganda flounders. In fact, even fully-washed brains can be deprogrammed in such an environment: the steps are

1. Informing the subject of his or her brainwashed state
2. Introducing information-backed contradicting ideas, and
3. Encouraging the honest embrace of truth.

Such are the goals of this article. Fathers, talk to your daughters. Brothers, talk to your sisters. Friends: you know what to do.
