Seven Days Outside - The Red Windows of France

This post is for @erikah’s #sevendaysoutside and @kalemandra’s #mondayred Photo Challenges. This is a collection of red window photos I took on my recent trip to France.

I believe this first one might be from one of the buildings in Amboise. I love the contrast of the red brick and gray slate in the one.

This shot is from Leonardo Da Vinci’s Chateau Clos Luce also in Amboise.

The last three are on the grounds of Chateau Chenonceaux, a palace I featured in a post last month.

Those are really amazing shots! I love how the colors from the bricks contrast with the other elements on the wall of the first shot. Are those places always closed? Or is any time when you can get in any of those houses? I bet that the interiors are just as stunning as the facade.
